Spread the Word Music Festival 2018 – The Fox Street Compound
Since 2012, Spread the Word Music Festival has been showcasing many of Colorado’s most amazing musicians. Spread the Word Festival has found the perfect home for this year at The Fox Street Compound and having multiple outdoors stages. This years eclectic line up, doesn’t fall short of our expectations of witnessing some of the greatest bands, producers, and artists alike in this thriving community for an ALL Colorado based lineup. It truly satisfies the diverse music lover in all of us. Featuring some of our favorites like the Jeff Austin Band, Skydyed, The Magic Beans, Bass Physics, Aaron Bordas, Em Possible, Evanoff, Cycles, Eminence Ensemble and so much more! MHSM Artists Lucid Vision, Homemade Spaceship, FunkStatik from the Mile High Sound Movement are joining this stacked lineup this year on Saturday! You can catch their sets on the electronic stage Saturday starting at 5:30PM until closing! Having already dedicated themselves to activism, education and shared working space, we can’t think of a better place to show off all of the wonderful talent in Colorado. There is FREE entry for kids 12 & under all weekend AND free entry for all Mothers’ on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 13th (must be attending with son and/or daughter).

Lucid Vision recently released a 4 track EP “Against the Odds,” with MHSM Records, validating our love for his original beats that spread light through sound. His tracks bring us to a serene place, filled with all the glitchy goodness and incorporating melodic instruments into his sounds. Homemade Spaceship has been tearing up the scene. His multi-layered electro, space inspired tracks mixed with live instruments like the saxophone and guitar, bring you out of this world to another glitch hop level.
